Naka Matsuzaki (Japanese: 松﨑ナカ; 1 January 1896 – 6 March 2007) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Matsuzaki was born in Japan on 1 January 1896. Following the death of 109-year-old Tsuki Ishii in December 2003, Matsuzaki became the oldest living person in Chiba Prefecture. Her age was verified by Japan’s MHLW, Ken Matsuoka and Robert Young, and validated by the GRG on 13 October 2006.
Matsuzaki died of natural causes in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, on 6 March 2007, at the age of 111 years, 64 days.
