Naomi Blanche Curtright (née Johnston; 4 December 1908 – 1 October 2019) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Naomi Curtright was born as Naomi Blanche Johnston in Madison, Missouri, United States, on 4 December 1908. Her parents were James H. Johnston and Anna Maude Mallory.
She married Eugene L. Curtright on 10 June 1928; they were married for 55 years before his death in 1983. The couple had no children.
Throughout her life, she worked a variety of jobs in Kansas City, Missouri, including working in a dress shop and a flower shop.
Curtright moved to a nursing home in Macon, Missouri, United States when she was 107. Velma Hinds also resided there, and the two were part of a centenarians group photo in 2016. She died on 1 October 2019 at the age of 110 years, 301 days.
