Natsu Kazato (Japanese: 風戸ナツ; 22 June 1906 – 23 June 2018) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by LongeviQuest (LQ).

Biography

Natsu Kazato was born on 22 June 1906 in Chosei Village, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. On 23 June 2016, the day after her 110th birthday, she celebrated the occasion with the residents and staff of her nursing home by enjoying a birthday cake.

Kazato became the oldest known living person in Chiba Prefecture upon the death of Mine Suzuki on 11 December 2017. She died on 23 June 2018, one day after her 112th birthday, in Chonan, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Her age was verified by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Stefan Maglov, Yu Li, and Yumi Yamamoto, and validated by LongeviQuest on 25 May 2023.
