Nelle Margaret "Nellie" Hunt (née Helton; 28 July 1887 – 8 February 2001) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography[]
She was born near Cainesville, Missouri, USA on 28 July 1887 as the daughter of Tomas and Mary Malinda King Helton. Her father died when Nelle was a young child and her mother remarried.
She married Albert Hunt in Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri, USA on 2 July 1916. The couple had two children: Margaret and Mary. She was widowed in 1938 and later moved to Springfield, Missouri, USA to work as a matron. She later lived in Golden City, Missouri, ISA.
Her sister Minnie Abbott (1890–1994) lived to be 104.
Hunt died in Greenfield, Missouri, USA on 8 February 2001 at the age of 113 years, 195 days.
