Nobu Abe (Japanese: 阿部のぶ; 3 February 1900 – 27 September 2010) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Nobu Abe was born in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, on 3 February 1900. On 12 October 2009, at the age of 109, following the death of Toki Takagi, Abe became the oldest living person in Aichi Prefecture. Her age was verified by Japan’s MHLW and Tom Li, and validated by the GRG on 23 October 2010.
Nobu Abe died of natural causes at the Tokainosato Care Home (Japanese: 東海の里) in Tokai, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, on 27 September 2010, at the age of 110 years, 236 days.
