Nora Kinton (1 January 1910? – fl.21 September 2021) was a Jamaican supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). If her claimed age is true, she would have been the oldest known living person in Jamaica at the time she went to limbo.
Biography[]
Nora Kinton claimed to have been born on 1 January 1910 in Slipe, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. As an adult, she moved to the community of Burnt Savannah, where she met her husband, Hezekiah Williams. They had one child, Luena Williams. She was widowed in 2012.
In January 2020, Kinton celebrated her claimed 110th birthday. Following the death of Eunis Pryce on 20 February 2021, she could have become the oldest living person in Jamaica (if her claimed age is true).
Nora Kinton was last confirmed alive in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica on 21 September 2021, at the claimed age of 111 years, 263 days. In May 2022, she went to limbo, as she was no longer listed on the list of centenarians released by Ministry of Labour and Social Security, Jamaica.
