Norio Kawada [Japanese: 川田紀夫] (25 April 1892 – 6 June 2003) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Norio Kawada was born in Japan on 25 April 1892. Following the death of 112-year-old Kumekichi Tani on 12 May 2003, he became the oldest living man and person in Tokushima Prefecture.
Kawada's age was verified by Japan's MHLW and Chiyomi Sumida, and (posthumously) validated by the GRG on 22 October 2004.
Norio Kawada died in Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture, Japan on 6 June 2003, at the age of 111 years, 42 days.
