Odette Sappino (born 7 April 1914) is a Swiss centenarian who is one of the oldest known survivors of COVID-19, having recovered from the disease at the age of 106.
Biography[]
Odette Sappino was born in Aubonne, Vaud, Switzerland on 7 April 1914, the oldest of 10 children. She was married twice and a son was born from her first union.
She moved at Maison de Vessy in March 2013. During the coronavirus pandemic, she was infected with COVID-19; however, as of 10 May 2020, she successfully recovered.
Sappino currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland, at the age of 110 years, 12 days.
