Oh Yoon-ah (Korean: 오윤아; 6 April 1899? – 10 January 2018) was a South Korean longevity claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Guinness World Records (GWR). If her claimed age were verified, she would have been the world's oldest living person since the death of Gertrude Weaver on 6 April 2015, until her own death.

Biography[]

Oh Yoon-ah claimed to have been born in Yerae-dong, Seogwipo, Jeju Province, South Korea (then Korean Empire), on 6 April 1899. Her husband died at the age of 60. They had three sons and one daughter.

At the claimed age of 116, on 4 June 2014, along with her son, Seong Kong-taek (Korean: 성공택), she voted in the local elections. In February 2016, she was visited by Moon Dae-Rim, a member of the Democratic Party.

Oh Yoon-ah died in Yerae-dong, Seogwipo, Jeju Province, South Korea, at 12:20 PM on 10 January 2018, at the claimed age of 118. At the time of her death, she had only one living son. She had more than 70 descendants.
