Olive Angie Alleshouse (née James; 7 June 1882 – 13 May 1995) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography[]
Alleshouse was born in Liberty Center, Warren, Iowa as the daughter of John and Charlotte Bird James. She married Martin Alleshouse in Missouri Valley, Harrison, Iowa on 23 October 1906, and they remained married until his death in 1936. The couple had no children. She worked as a teacher and librarian.
In 1956, Alleshouse retired to a nursing home in Peoria, Illinois. She died in Peoria, Illinois on 13 May 1995 at the age of 112 years, 340 days.
