Onorina Tagliaferro (née Apprato; born 7 July 1913) is an Italian-born Argentinian supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2024.
Biography[]
Onorina Tagliaferro was born in Chuzano, Asti Province, in the Piedmont region of Italy on 7 July 1913. She emigrated to Argentina when she was 20 years of age and settled in Rio Tercero, Cordoba Province with her husband Jose Tagliaferro (now deceased). They had two children: a son, Humberto (deceased) and a daughter, Elsa, who lives next door to her. She has 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In July 2023, Tagliaferro celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Onorina Tagliaferro currently lives in Rio Tercero, Corodoba Province, Argentina at the age of 111 years, 160 days.
