Patricia Liesa Cortina (25 August 1909 – 18 October 2019) was a Spanish supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2020.
Biography[]
Patricia Liesa Cortina was born in Argavieso, Huesca, Spain on 25 August 1909. She was the eldest daughter in her family.
Liesa Cortina studied in the city of Huesca in order to become a seamstress. She then returned to Argavieso, where she opened a tailoring studio. She married at the age of 25; she moved to Bespen with her husband, where she continued her tailoring business.
In 1963, she moved to the Turo de la Peira neighborhood of Barcelona to live with her son, Eleutorio. In 2017, she was reported to have 3 children, 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Liesa Cortina died in Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain on 18 October 2019 at the age of 110 years, 54 days.
