Paula Simanova (13 October 1913 – 29 July 2020) was a Slovakian centenarian who was the oldest known living person in Slovakia at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Paula Simanova was born in Brezno District in the Banská Bystrica Region of central Slovakia, (then Austria-Hungary) on 13 October 1913.
She became the oldest known living person in Slovakia, following the death of 109-year-old Maria Ceremugova on 5 December 2018.
Simanova died in the village of Valaská, Brezno District, Banská Bystrica Region of central Slovakia on 29 July 2020, at the age of 106 years, 290 days. Following her death, the then 105-year-old Stefania Sovcikova became the oldest known living person in Slovakia.
