Paule Bronzini (7 July 1900 – 29 August 2012) was a validated French supercentenarian who was the oldest known living person in France at the time of her death.

Biography

Paule Bronzini was born in Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France on 7 July 1900. She became the oldest living person "doyenne" in France after the passing of Marie-Therese Bardet on 8 June 2012. She had five children, 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren at the time. Bronzini was a resident of the retirement home in Robion.

Bronzini died in Vaucluse, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France on 29 August 2012 at the age of 112 years, 53 days. She was the last surviving person in metropolitan France born in 1900. Following her death, Irenise Moulonguet succeeded the title of French Doyenne.

Her daughter Reine Burelli celebrated her 100th birthday in October 2018.
