Pearl Florence Blain (née Thompsen; 13 October 1895 – 25 February 2006) was a validated American supercentenarian. She was one of the oldest known people in the US state of Utah at the time of her death.
Biography[]
She was born in Spring City, Utah on 13 October 1895. Her parents were Andrew Peter Christian Thompsen and Kristen Kathrine (née Christensen) Thompsen. Her father died in 1952 at the age of 86 and her mother died in 1954 at the age of 89. She married Grover Blain on 25 May 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The couple had 3 children: Grover Carlan Blain (1921–2004), Twyla Kathryn Foster (1924–2007) and Alton Jay Blain (1927–2013). Her husband died in 1978 at the age of 86. She had 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren. She died in Roy, Utah on 25 February 2006 at the age of 110 years, 135 days.
