Pedro Maria Molina Marquez [Spanish: Pedro María Molina Márquez] (born 27 April 1915) is a Venezuelan supercentenarian who is currently the second-oldest known living person in Venezuela, after Juan Mijares Camargo. His age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) and LongeviQuest (LQ).

Biography[]

Pedro Maria Molina Marquez was born in Chacantá, the department of Merida, Venezuela on 27 April 1915. His parents were Francisco Molina Molina and Leocadia Marquez Contreras. Throughout his life, he has worked a variety of jobs, ranging from day laborer, farmer, rancher, horse farmer, coffee grower, bricklayer, winemaker, and landscaper.

At the age of 27, he married Adelia Montes Contreras, and they had seven children together. The couple remained together for 21 years until Adelia passed away on 8 August 1963. A widower with young children, his sisters and mother helped raise his children while he worked. He married for a second time at the age of 45, to Herminia Montes Reinoza, and the couple would also have seven children. At the time of his 100th birthday in 2015, he had 60 grandchildren, more than 100 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

In April 2025, he celebrated his 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.

Molina Marquez currently lives in Chacantá, Merida, Venezuela at the age of 110 years, 269 days.
