Perry C. Sisson (2 February 1865? - 7 May 1982) was an American longevity claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Perry Sisson claimed to have been born in Georgia, United States on 2 February 1865 but was more likely born on 2 February 1886 and was 96 years old at the time of his death instead of 117. His parents were also natives of Georgia and he lived in Georgia for his whole life.

He married Sallie King and had at least 2 children (1 son and 1 daughter). His age was exaggerated by 21 years.

Perry Sisson died in Fannin, Georgia, United States on 7 May 1982 at the claimed age of 117 years, 94 days but was more likely the age of 96 years, 94 days. If his claimed age were true then he would have been the oldest person ever at the time of his death. He would also still hold the title of oldest man ever.
