Pierina Sala (28 June 1910 – 20 February 2021) was an Italian supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group in 2020.
Biography[]
Sala was born on 28 June 1910 in Fara Gera d'Adda, Lombardy, Italy. At the age of 20, she moved to Milan with her husband Enrico Ronchi, where they opened a shop together. Sala died in Milan, Lombardy, Italy on 20 February 2021 at the age of 110 years, 237 days.
Sala's sister, Alessandra, lived to the age of 103.
