Pierre Marius Galante (15 October 1903 - ?) was a French supercentenarian claim whose age has been debunked.
Biography
Pierre Marius Galante was born in Antibes, Alpes-Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France on 15 October 1903. His parents were Paul Galante (1867-1926) and Virginie Antoinette Fournier (1875-1953). Her mother remarried in 1918. He joined a French military in 1923. He had a brother Alexandre Elie Galante (1895 - 1964) and sister Jeanne Alexandrine Claire Galante (1908 - 1991). He died in Paris V, Paris, Ile-de-France, France at the claimed age of 116 years.
Age debunking
French-GRG Correspondent Cyril Depoudent established that he was a ghost case. That means that he was really born in 15 October 1903, but his death wasn't declared until 20 February 2020. Pierre Marius Galante has disappeared since 7 July 1928, has been declared missing by a judgement on 4 December 2019, the judgement sent to the town hall of Paris on 14 February 2020, the certificate written on 20 February 2020.
