Rosa "Rosita" Elena Pinzon [Spanish: Rosa "Rosita" Elena Pinzón] (born 31 May 1914) is a Ecuadorian supercentenarian who is currently the oldest known living person in Ecuador. Her age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) and LongeviQuest (LQ).
Biography[]
Rosa Elena Pinzon was born in Gonzanamá, Loja Province, Ecuador, on 31 May 1914 (claims 26 June 1913).
She was a seamstress. She married Luis Antonio Villacres Matailo and had 12 children together: Amada, Olga, Cleotilde, Dioselina, Carlos, Armando, Alfonso, Manuel, Gloria, José, Magdalena, and Rosalina.
At the age of 73, she moved to Quito, Pichincha Province.
Rosa Elena Pinzon currently lives in Quito, Pichincha Province, Ecuador, at the age of 111 years, 239 days (claims 112 years, 213 days). Her descendants include 70 grandchildren, 140 great-grandchildren, and 45 great-great-grandchildren.
