Rose "Rosie" Bromberg (24 August 1913 - fl.3 June 2020) was an American centenarian who is one of the oldest known survivors of COVID-19, having recovered from the disease at the age of 106.
Biography[]
Bromberg was born in the United States on 24 August 1913. She grew up in Paterson, New Jersey where she worked in a candy store with her parents making ice cream sodas. She had two children (including Howie Bromberg). She lived in Florida for some time before moving back to New Jersey.
She broke her hip at age 102 and recovered. In late April 2020, she was diagnosed with COVID-19; however, as of 22 May 2020, she successfully recovered.
As of June 2020, she had five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She lives at The Gardens at Monroe. Helen Fried (1911–2020), who died of COVID-19, was also a resident of the same home.
Rose Bromberg was last reported to be alive on 3 June 2020 when she lived at The Gardens at Monroe in Monroe, New Jersey, United States, at the age of 106 years.
