Biography[]
Royal Louise Brown was born in Pitcairn on 14 March 1928. Her parents were Frederick Warren Brown and Ivy Edna Young. She married Gilbert Anderson Warren who died in 1975. They had three children: Pearl Matilda Warren, who was born on May 20, 1947; Melva Elector Warren, who was born on March 6, 1949; and Michael Calvert Warren, who was born in 1964. Royal Warren was manager of the crafts operations in 1995 on Pitcairn Island. Royal Warren died in Pitcairn on 12 March 2025 few days before her 97th birthday at the age of 96 years and 363 days. Royal Warren was the oldest woman ever from Pitcairn Island and second oldest native ever from Pitcairn after British-born Charles Cooze who died in 1944 at the age of 97 years, 220 days.
