Rozalia Polackova [Slovakian: Rozália Poláčková] (5 September 1908 – fl.5 October 2015) was a Slovakian centenarian who was the oldest known living person in Slovakia at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Rozalia Polackova was born in the village of Oščadnica, Čadca District, in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia, (then Austria-Hungary) on 5 September 1908. After marriage, she moved to the village of Pruské in Ilava District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia, where stayed all her life.
She became the oldest known living person in Slovakia, following the death of 105-year-old Helena Schusterova on 7 May 2013.
Polackova was last confirmed alive in Pruské, Trenčín Region, Slovakia in October 2015 at the age of at least 107 years, 30 days. Following her death then, 106-year-old Maria Ceremugova, became the oldest known living person in Slovakia.
