Rudolf Kosa [Hungarian: Kósa Rudolf; Slovakian: Rudolf Kóša] (14 December 1911 – 6 December 2017) was a Slovakian centenarian. At the time of his death, he was the oldest living ethnic Hungarian person in Slovakia and probably the oldest living man in Slovakia.

Biography[]

Rudolf Kosa was born in Nyekvarkony, Austria-Hungary (now Vrakun, Slovakia) on 14 December 1911. His parents were farmers. He married a woman named Erzsébet on 28 January 1947. He and his wife had five sons. He was widowed in 2013.

He became the oldest known living man in Slovakia, following the death of 105-year-old Jozef Daniska on 23 September 2014.

Kosa died in Vrakun, Slovakia on 6 December 2017 at the age of 105 years, 357 days. Following his death, then 104-year-old Jozef Lukovic became the oldest known living man in Slovakia.
