Biography[]
Rudy Thompson was born to Norwegian immigrants on a farm in Toledo, Oregon, USA on 28 October 1912. During the first five years of his life, he grew up on the farm where he was born. He later moved to California.
Thompson served during World War II and was among the oldest known living veterans of the war at the time of his death.
