Rufina Rosero Benavides (18 October 1910 – fl.18 October 2020) was a Colombian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Rufina Rosero was born in Pasto, Narino, Colombia on 18 October 1910. She met her husband Enrique Argote at the age of 13. The couple had 12 children. Her husband died around 1990.

Around 2016, she underwent surgery at the Departmental Hospital of the Valley to remove a fibroid and three days later she was back home.

At the age of 109, she has vision problems. As of August 2020, she had nine living children, 36 living grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Rufina Rosero was last confirmed alive shortly before her 110th birthday with one of her daughters and a grandson in Tequendama neighborhood, Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia.
