Santos Fierro (née Rico; born 23 July 1913) is a Mexican-American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She is currently one of the oldest known living people in the U.S. state of Texas.
Biography[]
Santos Fierro was born on 23 July 1913 in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico. She moved with her family in 1916 to El Paso, Texas, USA, where she has lived ever since. She dropped out of school in the 4th grade and worked in both a hospital and a school district.[1]
She married Andres Fierro in 1938 and had five children with him. Her husband died in 1966. Vierro has grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Santo Fierro currently lives in El Paso, Texas, USA at the age of 112 years, 108 days.
