Biography[]

See was born to a farming family in Fujian, China in 1887. She came to Singapore at 27 years old and married a landowner who predeceased her by about 40 years at the age of 80.

See passed away on 3 November 1989, at the age of 102. She was survived by over 200 descendants, including her only son, then-64-year-old electrical businessman Ong Bok Lim, four daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, 22 grandsons, 13 granddaughters-in-law, 21 granddaughters, 12 grandsons-in-law, 35 great-grandsons, seven great-granddaughters-in-law, 47 great-granddaughters, 14 great-grandsons-in-law, and about 50 great-great-grandchildren.

She was buried at Choa Chu Kang Cemetery on 9 November 1989.
