Seliman Anak Bandang (21 March 1910? – 19 August 2023) was a Malaysian supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). If his age is true, he would have been the oldest known living man in Asia, the oldest known living person in Malaysia, and the second-oldest known living man in the world at the time of his death, behind Juan Vicente Perez Mora.

Biography[]

Seliman Bandang claimed to have been born in Raj of Sarawak (now Malaysia) on 21 March 1910. He had two adopted children.

He celebrated his claimed 110th birthday in March 2020.

In July 2021, he had already received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

On 1 August 2021, he was officially recognised as the oldest living man in Malaysia by Malaysia Book of Records (MBR). As of August 2021, he had nine grandchildren (including Michael Bandang (aged 24 in August 2021)) and 13 great-grandchildren.

Bandang died in Saratok, Sarawak, Malaysia, on 19 August 2023 at the claimed age of 113 years, 151 days.
