Selvino Jesus de Oliveira (born July 1910?) is a Brazilian supercentenarian claimant to the oldest living man title whose age is currently unvalidated by the Guinness World Records (GWR).

Biography[]

Selvino Jesus de Oliveira claims to have been born in Brazil in July 1910. He has spent his entire life, living in Brazil, and was raised by his grandmother.

He is a fan of bocce ball, and in his younger days, he competed in the sport. Now, in his old age he still watches bocce ball on television.

In August 2023, at the claimed age of 113, he was reported to still be lucid. He is in good health, although he suffers from age-related hearing loss, and family and friends have to shout to make themselves heard. He spends most of his days in either the living room, or bedroom of the house he currently resides in. He says his secret to a long life is a healthy diet, and not getting married. His favorite foods include, fatty lard, meat, cassava, and beans. He was also reported to incorporate chimarrão, daily in his diet.

Selvino Jesus de Oliveira currently lives in Santa Izabel do Oeste, Parana, Brazil, at the claimed age of at least 114 years, 191 days.

As of 2023, de Oliveira has an ID card and CPF records, both of which support his claimed age. He also claims to have records from a former workplace, although these have not yet been verified. His family claims his original birth records were destroyed, when the registry office where he was registered at, caught fire.
