Serafin Herrero Lazaro was born in Sando de Santa Maria, Salamanca, Castile and Leon, Spain on 28 December 1913. In December 2023, he celebrated his 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Serafin Herrero Lazaro died in Salamanca, Castile and Leon, Spain on 29 December 2023, just one day after his 110th birthday. At the time of his death, he was the third-oldest known living man in Spain, after Luis Torras Martinez and Mateo Balbuena Iglesias.
