Serafina Naccarato (10 October 1893 – 29 March 2006) was an Italian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Serafina Naccarato was born in Lago, Calabria, Italy on 10 October 1893. Her parents were Luigi Naccarato (1864–1949) and Saveria De Luca (1875–1961). She married Mariano Magliocchi and had eight children (three of whom were alive at the time of her death). She got widowed in 1947.
Naccarato died in Ancona, Marche, Italy on 29 March 2006 at the age of 112 years, 170 days. At the time of her death, she was the 15th oldest living person in the world, and the second oldest living person in Italy. She coincidentally shared a birthday with fellow supercentenarians Gisela Metreweli (1893–2004) and Louis Marion (1893–2003).
