Severina Angela "Fina" Chiurato (4 February 1913 – 18 March 2023) was an Italian supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2024. She was one of the oldest known survivors of COVID-19, having recovered from the disease at the age of 107.

Biography[]

Chiurato was born in Grumolo delle Abbadesse, Veneto, Italy on 4 February 1913. She had five children.

In December 2020, at the age of 107, Chiurato contracted COVID-19. Despite suffering from a 40°C fever, she successfully recovered, making her one of the oldest survivors of the disease. She went on to celebrate her 108th birthday in February 2021.

She celebrated her 110th birthday on 4 February 2023 and became a supercentenarian.

Chiurato died from complications of a fall in Torri di Quartesolo, Veneto, Italy, on 18 March 2023 at the age of 110 years, 42 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Veneto.
