Biography[]

Shi Xingyue claimed to have been born on 7 December 1906 in Qing dynasty (China). In her 50s, she had a serious illness, but overcame it. She wasn't often ill, and rarely caught flue.

At the end of 2016, Shi was reported to be the oldest living person in Zhejiang ; her predecessor, 114-year-old Zhang Cai'e, died on 14 September 2016 (although Huang Mulan can have hold that title, some Chinese articles report her as being born in 1907).

In October 2017, Shi was reported to be bedridden due to being physically tired. Her hearing and memory deteriorated, but she still had a strong voice. Also, she was in quite good health, and wasn't taking any medicament; she also hadn't any illness due to age.

Shi was last confirmed alive on 30 September 2019 in Fengli Village, Gulin Town, Haishu District, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China, at the age of 112 years and 297 days. In October 2019, she went to limbo, as Jiang Suifeng was reported to be the oldest living person in Zhejiang Province.
