Shige Kitagawa was born in Japan on 15 April 1903 and passed away on 13 September 2014 at the age of 111 years, 151 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in Shiga prefecture. After her death, Mina Kitagawa became the oldest living person in Shiga prefecture.
