Shige Kobayashi [Japanese: 小林しげ] (30 August 1910 – 24 July 2022) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Shige Kobayashi was born in Japan on 30 August 1910. Following the death of 111-year-old Rikako Hoshino on 17 April 2021, she became the oldest living person in Gunma Prefecture.

Shige Kobayashi died in Kiryu, Gunma Prefecture, Japan on 24 July 2022, at the age of 111 years, 328 days.
