Biography[]
Silvina Rosa de Jesus claimed to have been born in Brazil on 20 June 1888. She claimed that her grandmother lived to the age of 125.
Silvina Rosa de Jesus was lucid until the last days of her life and she was still able to sew and make clothes. She died of pneumonia and was survived by 6 children, 36 grandchildren, countless great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Silvina Rosa de Jesus died on 27 December 2008 at the claimed age of 120 years, 190 days. If her age were true she would have been the oldest person in the world at the time of her death and the second oldest person ever.
