Soo-Ying Yin [Chinese: 甄素英, translated as Zhen Suying] (2 December 1909 – 30 May 2021) was a Chinese-born American supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Soo-Ying Yin claimed to have been born in Kaiping County, Jiangmen, Guangdong, China on 2 December 1909. Her mother and her sister both lived to age 100. At the end of the 1970s, she moved to the United States. She was naturalized in 1991.
In December 2009, Yin celebrated her 100th birthday. She ate fried noodles and pumpkin croquettes. She was visited by Theresa Tseng [Chinese: 陳蕙詩], her doctor since 25 years. At the time, she was reported to be in good physical condition, to can move freely, and to don't have high blood pressure or heart disease. She used to do jogging and boxing. She also used to get up at 7 a.m., and to go to bed at 9 p.m.
Soo-Ying Yin died in Los Angeles, California, USA on 30 May 2021, at the claimed age of 111 years, 179 days.
