Sophie Schuster (7 April 1906 – 28 April 2016) was a German supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2022.
Biography[]
Sophie Schuster was born in Illdorf, Kingdom of Bavaria, German Empire on 7 April 1906. She married Theo Schuster and the couple had seven children. Around 1936 Schuster moved to Burgheim. She became the oldest living person in Bavaria after the death of 110-year old Auguste Ehard on 22 March 2016. On 7 April 2016, Schuster turned 110 herself.
Schuster died in Burgheim, Bavaria, Germany on 28 April 2016 at the age of 110 years, 21 days.
