Stepan Dobricanovic [Serbian: Степан Добрицановић] (5 February 1914 – 20 June 2020) was a Serbian centenarian who was the oldest known living man in Serbia at the time of his death.

Biography[]

Stepan Dobricanovic was born in Rudna Glava, Majdanpek, Kingdom of Serbia (now Serbia) on 5 February 1914. He worked as a miner in the Majdanpek Copper Mine.

He read the newspaper without glasses until he was 104 and persistently took care of himself. For the last two years, he has lived with his niece Snezana Ivanovic.

He became the oldest known living man in Serbia, following the death of 104-year-old Vitomir Bozic on 20 May 2017.

Dobricanovic died in Negotin, Serbia on 20 June 2020 at the age of 106 years, 135 days. He was buried in his native village of Rudna Glava. Following the his death, then-105-year-old Radivoje Stevanovic of Belgrade became the oldest known living man in Serbia.
