Sue Maki (Japanese: 牧すゑ; 10 August 1910 – fl.1 January 2021) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Maki was born in Ama, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, on 10 August 1910. After graduating from a girl's school, she married Rokuo Maki. Following the death of her husband in the mid-1980s, she moved to Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture. At the age of 95, she had colorectal cancer, but she had a surgery and has not been seriously ill since then.
Maki was last confirmed alive on 1 January 2021 at the age of 110 years, 144 days. At time, she lived in the nursing home of "Asuka no Mori" in Kamiarai, Tokorozawa, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
