Susana Correa (10 August 1848? – 22 July 1961) was an Argentine-born Uruguayan supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG). If validated, she would be the world's oldest living person since the death of Jennie Howell on 16 December 1956 until her death.
Biography[]
Susana Correa claimed to have been born in Argentina on 10 August 1848. Allegedly, she was a great-granddaughter by direct line of one of the members of Thirty-Three Orientals. At the some point in life, she moved to Uruguay.
In August 1958, she celebrated her 110th birthday.
Susana Correa died in Nueva Palmira, Colonia Department, Uruguay on 22 July 1961 at the age of 112 years, 346 days.
