Susie Brunson (née Jackson; 25 December 1882 – 29 November 1994) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography
Susie Brunson was born on 25 December 1882 (claimed 1870) in Bamberg, South Carolina, USA, as the daughter of Randall and Carrie Moyer Jackson. She grew up in the area and her family later came to Aiken, South Carolina. She married George (James) Davis and had several children with him, most of which died in infancy. After the death of her first husband she married William Robinson and had one child with him before his passing. Her third and last husband was Adam Brunson.
In 1932 Brunson moved to Long Island, New York to live with her daughter Mary McDaniel. She remained there until 1987 when she moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. At times she received heavy media attention thanks to her claiming to have been born in 1870. Susie Brunson died in Wilmington, North Carolina, USA, on 29 November 1994 at the age of 111 years, 339 days (claimed 123 years, 339 days).
