Takako Kojima (Japanese: 小島孝子; 2/31 March 1906 – December 2017) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Kojima was born in Japan between 2 and 31 March 1906. In September 2015, at the age of 109, she was visited by the Mayor of Ichihara, Joji Koide. At that time she was the oldest living person in the city. She said that eating regular meals is her secret of longevity. At that time she lived at the "Spring" Elderly Health Care Facility (Japanese: 介護老人福祉施設春) in Ichihara.
Kojima died in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, in December 2017, at the age of 111 years, 245-305 days.
