Take Matsui [Japanese: 松井タケ] (1 October 1902 – 19 May 2014) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Take Matsui was born on 1 October 1902, in Japan. In the 1990s, she moved from Gifu Prefecture to the area of Yasuura in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. As of 2011, she had a living 97-year-old sister.
Following the death of 112-year-old Natsuko Fujiwara on 23 January 2014, Matsui became the oldest living person in Hiroshima Prefecture.
Take Matsui died in Yasuura Town, situated in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan on 19 May 2014 at the age of 111 years, 230 days.
