Tsuyoshi Hanawa [Japanese: 塙毅] (9 January 1910 – 27 March 2020) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Tsuyoshi Hanawa was born in Japan in 9 January 1910. In January 2020, he became a supercentenarian when he celebrated 110 years of life. On the 17th of that month, he became the oldest living man in Ibaraki Prefecture.
Tsuyoshi Hanawa died in Hitachiomiya, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan on 27 March 2020 at the age of at 110 years,78 days. After his death, the oldest living man in Ibaraki Prefecture became Motoi Fukunishi.
