Tatsuyo Kobayashi (Japanese: 小林たづよ; 25 January 1904 – 7 December 2015) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Kobayashi was born in Japan on 25 January 1904. In August 2014, she was visited by the Mayor of Itami, Yasuyuki Fujiwara. When asked about the secret of her long life, she said "Working seriously". Her age was validated by the GRG on 5 September 2015. In September 2015, she was reported as the 2nd oldest living person in Hyogo Prefecture, after Aino Matsuoka.
Kobayashi died in Itami, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, on 7 December 2015, at the age of 111 years, 316 days.
