Teresa Tracy Locke (née Fitzgerald; 30 November 1865 – 18 June 1976) was a New Zealander-American supercentenarian who is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Teresa was supposedly born in Otago, New Zealand on 30 November 1865 as the daughter of Patrick Tracy and Honora O'Halloran Fitzgerald. She moved to Australia in around 1882 and married her husband, Allan Locke (who was seven years her junior), in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia in 1899.
The couple then moved to California, USA and had a son, Allan Jr. Teresa was widowed in 1954 and moved into a nursing home in 1962.
Teresa Locke died in Union City, California, USA on 18 June 1976 at the age of 110 years, 201 days.
