Theophilia Lehacaut [French: Théophilia Léhacaut] (née Champesting; 4 March 1915 – 18 January 2021) was a French Guianese centenarian who was the oldest known living person born in French Guiana at the time of her death. She was also the second-oldest known living person in French Guiana at the time of her death, after Marie-Louise Rochambeau.

Biography[]

Theophilia Lehacaut was born in Savane Brigandin, in Sinnamary, French Guiana on 4 March 1915. She was the daughter of Leopold Champesting (1890–1951) and Josephine Metella (who died at the age of 45). She had one brother and 12 half-siblings.

At the age of 20, Lehacaut worked as a midwife. She had eight children (the oldest aged 80 in 2019).

On her 104th birthday in 2019, Lehacaut received flowers from Sinnamary's mayor deputy Cathia Attica. In March 2020, she celebrated her 105th birthday.

Lehacaut died in Sinnamary, French Guiana on 18 January 2021 at the age of 105 years, 320 days.
