Tise Fauolo (1 July 1888? – 23 January 2003) was a Samoan supercentenarians claim whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). If her age was true, she could be oldest person ever who lived in Samoa.

Biography[]

Tise was claimed to have been born in the village of Taga, Savai'i, present-day Samoa on 1 July 1888 as a pastor's daughter. Tise was the second child in the family of five and was educated in the pastor's school in her village. She spent most of her time as a girl looking after her parents in the pastoral ministry. In 1917, she married Fuifatu Afoa and the family title 'Fau'olo' was conferred on him. Tise bore no children of her own but raised six adopted children (including Oka Fauolo). Most of her life she lived in Safotulafai village on the island of Savai‘i.

Tise died in village Fusi, Samoa on 23 January 2003 at the claimed age of 114 years, 206 days.
